In the morning, I was at the pool, swimming laps before class.

There was no plan B.
It was either I build what I want, or I stay where I was.

So I built.

People told me you couldn’t make money as a yoga teacher.
So I made enough to build my first house.
Not because I wanted to prove anyone wrong,
but because I’ve always known I didn’t want to depend on anyone else.

Not a partner.
Not a job.
Not my audience.
Not a platform.

And that mindset is what I’ve carried into every business since.
